Position Overview:

As an Overnight Financial Coordinator, you will be responsible for executing end-of-day procedures, which include posting charges to accounts, conducting night audit backups, and rolling the date. You will handle various payment methods such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit. Your role will also involve processing adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges.

In case of emergencies, you will print contingency lists to maintain a record of all guests. You will assist guests without reservations by selling accommodations based on availability. Additionally, you will operate the telephone switchboard, manage wake-up call requests, and inform guests of any messages received.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Complete the Room Rate Variance Report.
  2. Facilitate guest check-ins and assign rooms.
  3. Activate or reissue room keys using electronic key machines.
  4. Count and secure the bank at the end of your shift.
  5. Balance and drop receipts according to accounting specifications.
  6. Set up, stock, and maintain work areas, ensuring cleanliness and presentation of all materials.

Safety and Compliance:
Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe work conditions to management.

Adhere to all company policies and procedures; maintain a clean and professional appearance; ensure confidentiality of proprietary information; and protect company assets.

Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; and express genuine appreciation to guests.

Communicate effectively using clear and professional language; answer telephones with appropriate etiquette. Build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues; support team efforts to achieve common goals. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements:
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or throughout the entire work shift. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Related Work Experience:
Less than 1 year of relevant experience.

Supervisory Experience:
No supervisory experience required.

License or Certification:
None required.

The pay range for this position is $23.62 per hour and may include benefits such as a 401(k) plan, earned paid time off, sick leave, and other wellness benefits, subject to eligibility and other requirements.
