Position Overview

Maine Medical Center - Portland is seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist with expertise in trauma settings. This role involves working with advanced Philips MRI systems across various locations.

Certification Requirements
  • Mandatory Certifications: ARRT (MR), AMRIT
Job Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI scans with a focus on Neuro, Body, and MSK imaging.
  • Utilize Philips MRI scanners effectively, ensuring high-quality imaging.
  • Work a schedule of 3-12 hour shifts primarily on weekends and evenings.
  • Maintain proficiency in IV placement.
  • Collaborate with a team to provide patient-centered care.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in MRI technology.
  • Expertise with Philips MR systems is essential.
  • Experience with Level 1 trauma, anesthesia, and ICU patients.
Unit Specific Information
  • Work with both inpatient and outpatient populations.
  • Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, team-oriented, and possess strong communication skills.
  • Required attire includes any scrubs except for hospital-issued scrubs.
