Radiation Oncology Technologist

The Certified Medical Dosimetrist performs treatment planning procedures, including dose calculations and computerized treatment plans, at PIH Health. This role requires technical skills in radiation oncology equipment operation, proficiency in generating dose distributions, and effective communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of Title 17 and principles of radiation safety, as well as experience with treatment planning programs like Eclipse and CMS.
Responsibilities
Perform treatment planning procedures, including dose calculations and computerized treatment plans
Operate radiation oncology equipment and maintain a safe working environment
Collaborate with medical physicists and radiation oncologists to generate dose distributions
Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members
Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements
Graduate from an accredited radiotherapy program
R.T.(T) and CRT certificates
Dosimetry Certification
B.S. Degree preferred
Minimum three (3) years experience as a radiation therapy technologist
