A Day in the Life of a Beverage Specialist

What an exciting role As a Beverage Specialist at Hash Kitchen, you play a vital role in crafting memorable experiences for our guests. The bar at Hash Kitchen provides a full-service atmosphere, offering both food and drinks from our innovative menu. Your responsibilities will include preparing beverages, taking food orders, and engaging with our wonderful patrons. You will also be responsible for maintaining, cleaning, stocking, and organizing the bar for optimal performance.

  • Open and close the bar according to established checklists.
  • Prepare and serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in line with the brand's recipes.
  • Organize and display liquor bottles and glassware attractively to enhance drink preparation and promote beverage offerings.
  • Verify the legal age of guests purchasing alcohol.
  • Process guest payments, handle credit card transactions, and provide change as needed.
  • Balance cash receipts accurately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bar areas, equipment, and surrounding workspaces.
  • Monitor bar equipment and report any maintenance issues to management.
  • Uphold brand integrity by not serving guests who have over-consumed and assist in arranging transportation for intoxicated guests when necessary.
  • Serve food items to guests seated at the bar.
  • Assist in restocking and replenishing bar supplies and inventory.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
