Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Water Restoration Technician to join our team at IFLO Inc. As a key member of our restoration team, you will be responsible for responding to water damage emergencies, performing water extraction, drying, and restoration services, and ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to water damage emergency calls and assess the situation.
  • Perform water extraction using specialized equipment and techniques.
  • Set up and monitor drying equipment, including air movers, dehumidifiers, and heaters.
  • Document and report on the progress of restoration efforts and maintain accurate records.
  • Conduct moisture readings and inspections to ensure complete drying and restoration.
  • Collaborate with team members to execute restoration plans and ensure quality control.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures, answer questions, and provide updates.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
  • Assist with inventory management of restoration equipment and supplies.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry standards and best practices.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications (IICRC, WRT) preferred.
  • Previous experience in water damage restoration, construction, or a related field is a plus.
  • Knowledge of water restoration techniques, equipment, and safety procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment and perform manual tasks.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Work Environment

The Water Restoration Technician will work in various environments, including residential and commercial properties affected by water damage. The role may require working in tight spaces, exposure to moisture, and occasional hazardous conditions, necessitating adherence to safety protocols.
