Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Pain Management Physician to provide exceptional care in a clinical setting. This role involves both outpatient and inpatient services, ensuring comprehensive treatment for patients suffering from various pain conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver clinical care with a focus on pain management.
  • Participate in a call schedule, providing 24-hour coverage as needed.
  • Manage a diverse patient demographic, primarily adults aged 18 and older.
  • Collaborate with support staff, including Physician Assistants, to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Utilize Epic EMR for efficient patient documentation and management.

Work Environment:

This position is set in a dynamic healthcare environment, requiring flexibility and a commitment to patient care. The physician will handle a variety of cases, including post-operative recovery, rehabilitation, and chronic pain management.

Requirements:
  • Must possess an active medical license in Kansas or be willing to obtain one.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Management.
  • Current certifications in ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS.

Additional Information:
  • Hospital privileges are required, with temporary privileges available.
  • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance will be provided.
  • Experience with pain management prescriptions is essential.
