Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive estimates for concrete projects, taking into account all pertinent factors.
- Work in close collaboration with project managers and team members to ensure precise project planning.
- Analyze project documents and specifications to grasp project requirements thoroughly.
- Leverage industry expertise and best practices to formulate competitive and accurate bids.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders throughout the estimating phase.
- Stay informed on industry trends, pricing, and material availability to enhance the estimating process.
- Offer mentorship and support to junior estimators as necessary.
- Continuously assess and refine estimating processes and procedures to boost efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in concrete estimating, particularly in commercial projects.
- Proficient in estimating software and tools, including Bluebeam, Planswift, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and mathematical abilities, with a sharp eye for detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams.
- Demonstrated capability to perform under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
