About the Role:

Cable Assembly Operator at Amphenol Borisch Technologies is responsible for correctly and efficiently completing wire and cable assemblies. This involves reading wire diagrams, blue prints, and schematics to assemble wires into cables and harness systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble electrical components, systems, and/or subsystems
  • Use automatic and handheld wire strippers for wire ends
  • Measure wires and finished cable assemblies for quality
  • Solder parts or connections between parts
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Ability to regularly sit, stand, and walk
  • Pass a Vision exam to inspect work at a close distance
  • Read and understand wire diagrams, blue prints, and schematics
  • Accurately use measuring tools and do basic math
  • Effectively use all tools required for wire harness assembly
  • Keen attention to detail and quality
  • Bend, stoop, and reach
  • Lift up to 35 pounds
