Data Center Cleaning Technician
Data Center Solutions is a certified HUBZone and Veteran Owned Small Business that specializes in the cleaning and maintenance of mission critical facilities.
The ideal candidate will have some technology background looking to start their career with a growing company.
Position is entry level but a critical stepping-stone to a career in data center maintenance support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning of mission critical facilities.
- Use antistatic chemicals and a backpack or handheld HEPA vacuum.
- Clean the ceiling walls, computer cabinets, racks, and equipment with antistatic solution.
- Clean data center floors using HEPA vacuum, Microfiber mop with neutral cleaning solution, and may include stripping and re-finishing the floors.
- Additional responsibilities may include climbing a ladder to facilitate cleaning duties.
Requirements:
- Must be willing to train to earn company provided certification.
- Experience in Cable Management, Infrastructure Cabling, Low Voltage experience a plus.
- Must be able to follow all safety and personnel rules and regulations.
- Must be flexible and available with time and schedule.
- Must be professional in look, attitude, and able to work with customers professionally.
- Must be able to work in a team environment with other Technicians.
- Must be able to take and follow directions from lead personnel as well as work independently.
- Must be able to perform all physical aspects of the job duties.
- Must be able to lift 20 lbs. containers and 35 lbs. access floor panels.
- Must be able to pass a Background Screen, Drug Screen and E-verify Check.
