About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead our store team and drive business results. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, developing and implementing business plans, and ensuring exceptional customer and employee experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the store, including managing inventory, controlling labor costs, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to your team, including coaching, training, and developing their skills and abilities.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure that every customer has an exceptional experience, including providing excellent service, resolving issues promptly, and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Business Development: Develop and implement business plans to drive sales growth, increase customer loyalty, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Community Engagement: Build and sustain relationships with local community leaders, organizations, and businesses to promote our brand and values.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a General Manager or similar role in the restaurant or retail industry.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, including coaching, training, and developing their skills and abilities.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, including financial management, inventory control, and labor management.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and implement effective solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
  • Certifications: Food Safety Certification and/or Alcohol Beverage Certification.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, rotating between front and back of house, and handling or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds. You must also have the ability to communicate and exchange information quickly in English with team members and others.
