We are an intermodal business transloading, storing, and draying cargo and shipping containers to and from the Ports of Virginia. Our warehouse and storage yard are located a few miles from the Virginia International Gateway port, in Portsmouth VA. We handle all types of cargo, including overweight, breakbulk, out of gauge, and over-dimensional.

About the Company:

We are looking for a qualified Crane Rigger to join our team in Portsmouth, VA. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of rigging techniques and equipment, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for safety.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and prepare lifting equipment.
  • Set up cranes and rigging.
  • Signal or verbally direct crane operators.
  • Calculate load weights, center of gravity, and crane capacities.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification as a Crane Rigger (NCCER, NCCCO, or equivalent).

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
