Key Responsibilities- Deliver direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for patients and families.
- Assist with patient mobility, including turning, positioning, and ambulating patients, as well as transferring them to and from other units or departments.
- Obtain and record patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and medications, to ensure accurate and effective care.
- Translate complex medical terminology to patients, families, and caregivers, promoting understanding and empowerment.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to develop and implement care plans, ensuring a patient-centered approach to care.
- Currently enrolled in an accredited school of nursing and in good standing.
- Ability to create and implement a personal career development plan, with regular reviews by a supervisor or preceptor.
- Completion of Nursing Fundamentals and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) licensure.
