Job Title: Substitute Registered Nurse

We are seeking a qualified Substitute Registered Nurse (RN) to provide coverage for absent School Nurses throughout the Puyallup School District.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a current Washington State RN License. Additionally, they will be able to obtain a Washington State ESA Nurse Certificate and CPR/First Aid Certification. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing services to students and staff in the Puyallup School District
  • Develop and implement individualized health plans for students
  • Collaborate with school staff to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment
  • Participate in health education programs and activities
Requirements:
  • BS in Nursing and Washington State RN License
  • Ability to obtain a Washington State ESA Nurse Certificate and CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Completed application with reference surveys from three professional references
  • Unofficial transcripts for the application process; official transcripts required upon offer
