As a Maintenance Technician at Four Points by Sheraton Richmond, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's facilities. This includes:

  • Responding to guest repair requests and providing exceptional customer service
  • Operating, repairing, and maintaining all hotel lighting and related equipment systems
  • Repairing and maintaining all plumbing and related equipment and systems
  • Repairing and maintaining all hotel appliances and equipment and physical plant
  • Painting all surfaces and equipment, making minor wall covering repairs, and minor furniture touch-ups
  • Repairing and maintaining the lock and key system
  • Performing minor construction work
  • Performing necessary inspections and repairs to kitchen and restaurant equipment and furnishings
  • Ensuring all projects are completed according to specifications and on time

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Excellent working knowledge of and experience in all facets of building maintenance, including electrical and HVAC
  • Excellent guest service skills, a high level of organization, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work as a team and have a positive attitude
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
