As a key member of our admissions team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all patients have a satisfying registration experience and are provided with choices, options, and counseling to assist them in making their healthcare decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring that their registration experience is efficient and satisfying.
- Accurate Registrations: Ensure accurate and comprehensive registrations of patients, including verification of eligibility and benefits.
- Point of Service Collections: Collect patient financial responsibility (co-pays, deductibles) at or before the time of service.
- Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance information and ensure accurate recording of eligibility and benefits.
- Registration Error Accuracy: Maintain a registration error accuracy rate of 97% or higher.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare setting and/or customer service experience
- Skills: Medical terminology, payment processing, hospital-based federal rules, regulations, and procedures, safety practices
