Position Summary

We are in search of a proficient Staff Accountant to become a vital member of our dynamic Finance team at ITW Electrostatics. Reporting directly to the Controller, this position will encompass providing thorough support across various financial operations, including record maintenance, financial assessment, and assistance with accounting responsibilities such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Cost Accounting. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, contributing to our financial strategy and overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute general accounting functions, including managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Conduct financial analyses and provide insights to improve financial performance.
• Assist in the budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee fixed asset management and tax filing processes.
• Prepare financial statements and assist in report generation.
• Support audit processes and address discrepancies.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Meticulous attention to detail and precision in data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to effectively convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
