Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

The Senior Electrical Engineer is a key member of our team, responsible for managing client projects and delivering high-quality electrical designs. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage client projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery of electrical designs and reports.
  • Develop and implement electrical distribution and control systems, including power distribution and transmission line design.
  • Conduct power system analysis and relay coordination, and perform area classification and electrical code assessments.
  • Estimate construction labor and material costs, and develop project schedules.
  • Program and set points for VFDs, relay protection, and other electrical systems.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in designing electrical distribution and control systems, with a strong background in power system calculations.
  • High voltage substation design experience (up to 345 kV) is preferred.
  • Subsurface and overhead transmission line design experience is also preferred.
  • Project lead experience, with a strong understanding of engineering schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to clients.
Education/Certification Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering is required.
  • Advanced degree is a plus.
  • FE certification is desired, and PE certification is a plus.
