Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders in students, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and providing direct therapy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language impairments.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student communication goals.
  • Evaluation and Screening: Conduct evaluations and screenings to identify students in need of speech-language services.
  • Family Education: Educate and train families and caregivers on strategies to support communication development at home.
  • IEP Participation: Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with school and district policies.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Valid Oregon state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience: Experience working in a school setting is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
