Job Opportunity for a Contract Speech-Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant. As a contract SLP, you will have the opportunity to work with children aged 3-5 in a variety of settings, including preschool classrooms and daycare locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess children referred for possible speech and language needs and determine eligibility for speech services.
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and present them to parents, school administrators, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions for children with identified speech and language disorders.
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records for all children on the caseload and provide regular progress reports to parents.
  • Organize caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school or classroom.
  • Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communications Disorders.
  • Oregon SLP license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Oregon Special Education procedures and best practices for SLPs in school settings.
  • Professionalism and accountability.
