Champion Home Builders is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Jobsite Superintendent to join our team in the Orlando Area.
Job Summary:The Jobsite Superintendent will assist the Project Manager in the execution of projects, ensuring timely completion, exceptional quality, and adherence to budget.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the flow of materials from suppliers and within the job site, ensuring timely delivery and proper staging.
- Direct subcontractors in their daily work and maintain a look-ahead schedule.
- Review and inspect the quality of work from Champion's factories and subcontractors.
- Create punch lists and coordinate the completion/resolution of punch lists with subcontractors.
- Assist in the coordination and resolution of warranty work from Champion's factory and subcontractors.
- Perform minor warranty work, with experience in manufactured home production/repair being a plus.
- Maintain job site work logs, including daily reports, look-ahead schedules, safety documentation, etc.
- Perform safety inspections in accordance with Champion's safety plan.
- Assist with or perform routine toolbox talks with all job site trades.
- Travel throughout the region to oversee various job sites.
- 5 years of construction experience, including residential construction and directing work crews or similar experience.
- Computer experience, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of local building codes, including 2009 IRC, UPC, IMC, and 2011 NEC.
- Must have a reasonable knowledge of OSHA requirements and understand required PPE for various tasks.
- Must be able to read drawing prints.
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record background check.
