Join Our Team as an Intensive Care Nurse RN

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Intensive Care Nurse RN to join our team at TriStar Summit Medical Center. As a critical care nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

About the Role

The Intensive Care Nurse RN will be responsible for providing direct patient care to critically ill patients, including those with cardiovascular, respiratory, and neurological conditions. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, administer medications, and monitor patient progress.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and reassess patients to identify their needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in their condition
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Document patient information and communicate with the healthcare team
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • RN licensure by the Tennessee Board of Nursing or a compact state
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
  • One to two years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in ICU
  • ACLS certification within six months of hire
