Job Opportunity

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Intensive Care Nurse RN to join our team at TriStar Summit Medical Center. As a critical care nurse, you will provide exceptional patient care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications, perform wound care, and monitor vital signs to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Provide respiratory and ventilator management, as well as monitoring for patients in critical care.
  • Coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals to ensure well-coordinated care.
  • Monitor and record patient condition, communicating with the healthcare team as needed.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.

Requirements

  • RN licensure by the Tennessee Board of Nursing or a compact state.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • BLS required.
  • Must obtain ACLS within 6 months of hire or transfer from a non-ICU area.
  • Specialty certification preferred.
  • One to two years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
  • ICU experience preferred.
