Job Summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) II to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team. As a RN II, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices, technologies, and research in cardiovascular critical care.
Requirements
  • Current California RN license.
  • 1 year of recent experience in a Cardiovascular ICU or Critical Care unit.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Completion of a Critical Care course.
  • Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare technologies.
