Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare delivery team, including physicians, to deliver quality healthcare.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and medical conditions, and take appropriate action to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- RN licensure in Texas or compact state.
- BCLS certification.
- ACLS certification upon hire or transfer into unit (Exception: GN must obtain within six (6) months from date of hire or transfer into unit).
- Minimum College: Associate Degree, Diploma in Nursing, or BSN.
- CCRN certification.
- PALS certification.
- TNCC certification.
- Acute Care Experience.
- Spanish language proficiency.
