Position Details

As a Structural Component Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in the construction of trusses, which are essential structural elements that support roofs and floors in residential buildings. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Completing a daily start-up checklist to ensure all equipment is operational.
  • Utilizing a computer at your workstation to access the necessary information for truss assembly.
  • Collaborating with your team to establish a framework on the building table according to design specifications.
  • Accurately positioning lumber pieces and securing them with metal plates.
  • Employing a large roller to flatten the plates and integrate them with the lumber.
  • Conducting quality checks to confirm the integrity of each truss before proceeding to the next.

Qualifications
  • Prior experience in manufacturing is preferred.
  • Familiarity with various tools is essential.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks at a swift pace while standing for extended periods.
  • Capacity to work effectively within a team environment.
  • General carpentry skills are advantageous.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds independently.

Compensation

Pay rate up to $25.43/hr
