Job OverviewPosition: Quality Assurance Technician

As a Quality Assurance Technician, your primary responsibility will be to conduct a variety of assessments on engine components. This role involves receiving components from production staff, utilizing a band saw for part preparation, and performing tests for contamination, chemical properties, hardness, acid etching, and microscopic analysis. Each component typically requires around three hours for thorough evaluation.

Your duties will also encompass data entry, compiling reports for management, and resolving any quality-related concerns regarding the materials. A training period of 2-3 weeks will be provided prior to transitioning to your designated shift.

Additional Responsibilities

Further responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and calibrating laboratory instruments.
  • Assisting in the upkeep of tools and utility equipment.
  • Supporting site personnel in organizational efforts.
  • Collaborating with customer production and technical teams.
