Clinical Safety Specialist Opportunity

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

About the Job

As a Clinical Safety Specialist, you will provide clinical expertise as an educator, leader, consultant, facilitator, change agent, and researcher. You will work collaboratively to foster a culture of safety and excellence within our organization.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement clinical onboarding programs for nursing staff.
  2. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and assign competency assessments.
  3. Conduct regular learning needs assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  4. Design and deliver educational programs for nurses at all stages of their career.
  5. Evaluate the effectiveness of assigned educational programs and identify areas for improvement.
  6. Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the designated specialty area, preferably with prior educator experience and acute care background.
  • Current registration in Tennessee and a valid TN nursing license are mandatory.
  • Certification in the area of specialty is highly desirable or should be attained within 2 years of employment.
