Responsibilities:
As a Corporate Legal Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Document Preparation: Assisting attorneys with document preparation, revisions, and editing, including legal briefs, court subpoenas, spreadsheets, and corporate documents.
- File Management: Maintaining client or attorney records and files in an organized and efficient manner, ensuring seamless workflow.
- Document Production: Photocopying and reproducing documents as needed, while implementing electronic storage systems to minimize paper files.
- Staff Support: Providing coverage for the receptionist or other secretaries as required.
- Additional Duties: Performing other clerical and administrative tasks as assigned by attorneys or firm administrators.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Excellent Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong Typing and Dictation Skills: Accurate and efficient typing and dictation abilities.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Effective interaction with lawyers, clients, and colleagues.
- Resourcefulness: Ability to research and find information to support attorneys and cases.
- Strong Organizational and Analytical Skills: Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and deadlines.
Salary Estimate: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on location and experience.
