Transform Lives as a Home Health Occupational Therapist Assistant

As a Home Health Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing therapy services planned and supervised by a qualified Occupational Therapist to help patients achieve their goals.
  • Assisting in the implementation of vocational and educational programs to enhance task performance, restore function, and promote health and self-sufficiency.
  • Designing and adapting equipment and environments to assist patients in achieving their goals.
  • Providing therapeutic treatment and instruction to patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist to improve strength, coordination, range-of-motion, and function.
  • Reporting information and observations to the Occupational Therapist and documenting patient records and progress.
  • Instructing patients and family members on home programs and adaptive equipment use.
  • Participating in care coordination and discharge planning activities to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Designing community reintegration activities to help patients readjust to their daily lives.

Make a Meaningful Impact

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Current and unrestricted OTA licensure
  • Minimum of six months occupational therapist assistant experience preferred
  • Home Health experience a plus
  • Current CPR certification
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation are required.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $57,700 - $79,500 per year, reflecting a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time employment. Benefits for limited-term, variable schedule, and per diem associates include paid time off, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, an employee assistance program, business travel, and accident insurance.
