Job Title: Traveling Speech Therapist

Cross Country Allied is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to fill a travel position in a skilled nursing facility.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team as a travel therapist. As a travel Speech Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings and locations, including skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, and rehabilitation centers.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized speech therapy treatment plans for patients with swallowing, speaking, and understanding disorders.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' communication and swallowing abilities.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing techniques.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Current state license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • At least 1 year of recent experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a skilled nursing facility.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
