Job Summary

The University of Kentucky is seeking a highly motivated and engaging Learning Bar Facilitator to join our team. As a Learning Bar Facilitator, you will play a critical role in providing interactive and hands-on alcohol education to students across the UK community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans and activities to promote healthy decision-making and responsible behavior among students.
  • Provide training and support to students on the impact of alcohol on the body and community, as well as strategies to mitigate its harms.
  • Maintain the upkeep of The Learning Bar, including record-keeping and lesson development.
  • Uphold all university alcohol and other drug policies.
Requirements
  • Must be enrolled as a student at the University of Kentucky.
  • Excellent public speaking, group facilitation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years of college coursework.
  • Experience in education, outreach, or a related field.
