Job Summary

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at SSM Health, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care by performing diagnostic procedures using ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structure. This position requires a registered sonographer with the ability to set up and adjust equipment, manually maneuver transducers, and implement safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and complex studies, and assist in a variety of imaging procedures.
  • Recognize significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations.
  • Ensure equipment is properly functioning and report potential problems or equipment malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
  • Submit high-quality images and documents to PACS, ensuring correct labeling and patient data/history.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, and dressing rooms.
Requirements
  • Completion of a sonography certification program.
  • No experience required.
