About the Role

Vigor Works is seeking a highly skilled Information Systems Security Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Validate the work of subcontractors and internal IT personnel performing system development and implementations in alignment with Naval Nuclear-801 (NN-801) and NIST SP.
  • Configure and harden classified systems under the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Provide technical writing support for governance document generation.
  • Conduct systems, networks, and applications analysis to identify gaps against required contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop options and provide recommended solutions to leadership.
Requirements
  • 7 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of experience in Information Security or Audit.
  • Significant experience with Information Security technologies, including vulnerability scanning tools, SIEMs, endpoint protection tools, DLP, and IDS/IPS tools.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance.
