Job Summary:

As a Radiologic Technologist PRN, you will perform diagnostic imaging services in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures to ensure the best possible patient care services are delivered. This role requires a strong understanding of radiology exam requests and patient identification to ensure safe, appropriate, and cost-effective imaging.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review radiology exam requests and patient identification to ensure safe, appropriate, and cost-effective imaging.
  • Apply a broad range of skills to ensure exams are completed timely and meet quality and compliance standards.
  • Provide appropriate screening processes to patients, staff, and self according to prescribed safety standards.
  • Assist in the orientation and training of new staff.

Technical Capabilities:

  • Demonstrate sufficient proficiency in diagnostic equipment to successfully complete exams in practical applications of moderate difficulty.
  • Explain and apply basic statutory instructions in normal situations on the job, understanding the principles upon which the rules and regulations are based.
  • Document patient information accurately and efficiently, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.

Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) licensure.

Work Experience: Relevant work experience in radiology or a related field.
