Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in a PRN role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating room radiology and pain blocks, with excellent teamwork skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiographic examinations in the operating room and pain block areas, ensuring compliance with established standards of quality.
  • Operate x-ray equipment to produce high-quality images, adjusting settings as needed to achieve optimal results.
  • Monitor accessory equipment and assist attending physicians with fluoroscopic examinations.
  • Record and label film, sorting as required, and consult with lead x-ray tech and radiologist to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with staff, physicians, patients, and families to provide excellent patient care and communication.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology.
  • Minimum 2 years of previous experience preferred.
  • AART Registered, State of Tennessee MRT, and CPR Current.
  • Knowledgeable of local, state, federal, and Joint Commission Regulations.
  • Independent decision-making skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication skills.
