As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the guest experience through exceptional beverage service. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about coffee and customer service.
Job Summary:
As a Barista, you will operate the Point of Sale system, assist in food preparation, and maintain cleanliness at the coffee and cashier stations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Prepare a variety of food items including meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts.
2. Assist in catering orders and perform cashier duties utilizing the POS system.
3. Maintain cleanliness by performing general cleaning duties and removing waste to designated areas.
4. Provide service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving, ensuring cash accuracy with receipts.
5. Make deposits at the end of each shift and manage inventory by restocking supplies and food products.
6. Set up serving lines, ensuring food temperatures are monitored and recorded, notifying kitchen staff if temperatures are outside acceptable limits.
7. Serve both hot and cold items to customers, ensuring that all items are presented attractively for purchase.
8. Keep refrigerators stocked and ensure proper rotation of products using the first in, first out method.
9. Record replenished amounts on floor stock forms and maintain accurate temperature logs for refrigeration.
10. Perform additional duties as assigned.
