Security Officer

Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing security services to our clients, ensuring the safety and security of their personnel, assets, and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide physical guard services, including incident response management, emergency first response, and deescalation of security incidents.
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and managing the safety and security of client personnel and assets across event venues.
- Monitor alarms and CCTV cameras to ensure access points are locked and secure, and respond to any security incidents.
- Perform alarm response services, maintain contact with the GSOC team, and assist with incident reporting.
- Administer badging services, including issuing access cards and managing inventory.
- Provide lost and found services, including reporting and storing lost items.
- Process visitors, contractors, and non-badged employees, and ensure they are properly badged and escorted.
- Conduct patrols of buildings and sites, inspect exterior perimeters, and check doors and server rooms for security integrity.
- Monitor vehicle access points, log employee and visitor vehicles, and ensure client personnel use access badges to enter facilities.
- Provide escort services, ensuring escorted individuals have access to necessary areas but not restricted areas.
- Current guard card license as required by state or local law.
- Pass a 7-panel drug test prior to placement.
- Pass a criminal history check and employment verification check.
- Speak, read, and write English.
- Hold all necessary licenses, permits, and certifications required by states and/or countries of assignment.
