Position Overview
As a Senior Project Engineering Specialist, you will oversee the entirety of significant capital projects, managing aspects such as concept development, scope definition, budgeting, resource allocation, and funding.
Your role will involve ensuring compliance with the design process and maintaining oversight of all essential project components and deliverables.
You will serve as the primary liaison among clients and various stakeholders, directly supervising project execution, which includes construction, commissioning, qualification, and verification phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating essential pre-project documentation, including project charters, management plans, and milestone schedules.
- Ensure that design progress aligns with established project milestones and deliverables.
- Collaborate with the design team to fully understand project requirements and facilitate the development of bid packages for construction.
- Direct the installation, construction, and commissioning of assigned projects.
- Monitor adherence to project timelines and scopes, securing necessary approvals for any modifications.
- Provide construction management and support during plant startup to guarantee successful project outcomes.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of project management experience in engineering, manufacturing, industrial, military, or similar environments. Leadership experience of at least 1 year is preferred.
The estimated salary range for this position is between $113,000 and $130,000, reflecting a good faith estimate at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, and geographic location.
