About the Role

We are seeking an experienced sales professional with a design background to join our team at Southern Comforts Fine Furniture Consignments Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and design expertise to clients.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our product offerings, including fine furniture, antiques, and art.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and provide personalized design solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with new products and services, and effectively communicate this information to customers.
  • Manage inventory receiving, tagging, cleaning, and marketing, as well as coordinate with movers to arrange pickup and delivery of inventory.
Requirements
  • Proven work experience in a design or sales role, preferably in the retail industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Basic math, computer, and marketing skills, with proficiency in POS software.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • High school degree or equivalent.

  • A competitive hourly rate of $12.00 to $16.00, depending on experience.
