The ideal candidate will engage in system diagnostics, configuration enhancements, and documentation efforts to enrich the team's collective knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and sustain an enterprise services infrastructure comprising Windows servers, Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers, and network devices.
  • Assist with mobile device VPN connectivity, user account management, and troubleshooting access to systems and services.
  • Conduct configuration modifications, patch management, and routine system upkeep.
  • Investigate and resolve issues impacting system or network performance.
  • Address technical challenges by adhering to internal protocols and collaborating with team members.
  • Contribute to the development and revision of documentation for common challenges and procedures.
  • Provide insights on enhancing processes and boosting operational efficiency.
  • Participate in occasional after-hours maintenance and provide on-call support for urgent matters.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with less than 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Possession of an active DoD SECRET clearance.
  • DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 certification (Security+ CE) must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting software applications, networking, and operating systems.
  • Familiarity with system administration duties and the ability to research technical solutions.
  • Willingness to engage with various technologies and a readiness to learn new systems.
  • Self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and the capacity to operate with minimal oversight.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with network devices, scripting, automation tools, VMWare, and Active Directory.
  • Understanding of networking principles and security protocols.
  • Certifications from major system vendors.

Compensation Information:

The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $99,875. This range serves as a general guideline and does not guarantee specific compensation.
