Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Medical Officer to lead our medical services team at a long-term care facility in Barstow, California.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of comprehensive medical services, supervising physicians and other medical staff, and ensuring that all medical duties are performed in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise physicians, Physician Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Provide medical consultation and develop treatment plans for residents
  • Monitor resident response to treatment and make adjustments as needed
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations and Titles 42 and 38 of the Code of Federal Regulations
  • Oversee and manage medical care for residents in the long-term care facility
  • Conduct administrative reviews of medical care policies and procedures to ensure alignment with current standards and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
  • Active California medical license
  • Board certification in Geriatric Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Practice
  • CPR and BLS certification
  • Minimum of 12 months of experience in a similar role within the last 3 years
