Job Summary:

Cynet Health is seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technician to join our team. As a Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, performing and assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, and utilizing and operating fluoroscopy equipment effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, including setting up equipment and accurately monitoring patient conditions.
  • Perform and assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations for Adults, IABP Placement/Removal, Impella Insertion, and various cardiac catheterization procedures.
  • Utilize and operate fluoroscopy equipment effectively, recognizing life-threatening arrhythmias and serving as room circulator and scrub technician.
  • Prep access site, perform EKG lead placements, and maintain sterile field, utilizing documentation systems and medication systems efficiently, including EPIC, McKesson, and Pyxis.
  • Use effective communication methods like SBAR and float to other units within the scope of practice if required.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Labs.
  • Preferably experienced in Special Procedures.
  • Competent in using Siemens Equipment.
  • Knowledge of Isolation Precautions and Rapid Response team usage preferred.

Additional Information:

  • Scrubs are provided.
  • COVID-19 vaccination is required, with medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed.
  • The role requires flexibility and the ability to travel between facilities within a 40-mile radius if necessary.
