Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Tech to join our team at CommonSpirit Health. As a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech, you will be responsible for performing duties of circulating, scrub, and monitoring of invasive cardiology procedures. You will work closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform duties of circulating, scrub, and monitoring of invasive cardiology procedures.
  • Assist cardiologists with both diagnostic and interventional procedures during cardiac catheterizations.
  • Contribute to the operations of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of all invasive procedures, equipment, and supplies.
  • Indications for performing each procedure.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree.
  • Current BLS certification required and current ACLS certification or completion of certification within 90 days of hire.
  • One of two pathways required for position: Current Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certificate administered by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) and current Washington State Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification, or current Washington State Certification for Radiologic Technologist and a certificate from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) as well as current registration with ARRT.
  • This position also requires current certification in Vascular Interventional Radiology (RTR-VI), Cardiovascular Interventional (RTR-CV), Cardiac Interventional (RTR-CI) or successful completion of this post-primary certification within six months of hire.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree and experience assisting with structural heart procedures such as TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman device placement, etc.
