Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Therapist 2 to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team in Marion County. As a key member of our team, you will provide intensive, community-based treatment services to individuals with serious mental illnesses and co-occurring disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive mental health assessments, treatment planning, and therapy services to individuals and their families.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of each client.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services as needed.
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate and timely clinical records.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • One year of postgraduate experience in the behavioral health field.
  • Licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors or the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers.
  • Credentialed or registered through the Mental Health and Addiction Counseling Board of Oregon (MHACBO) as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with individuals with serious mental illnesses and co-occurring disorders.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
