Building Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Superintendent to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties, including maintenance, repairs, and emergency response.

• Manage day-to-day maintenance and operations of the property, including coordination with contractors and vendors.
• Ensure timely maintenance of all building operations and systems, including preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain inspection logs for sprinkler systems, fire extinguishers, and other building systems.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks.
• Participate in interviewing and hiring of maintenance staff.
• Purchase maintenance supplies and maintain accurate inventory.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety standards as set forth by state and federal governments.
• Assist with snow removal and other tasks as needed.
• Prepare and provide facilities updates for Director and funder DHS.
• Utilize Yardi to enter requisitions and follow up on purchase orders with vendors.
• Accept deliveries and provide packing slips to administrative assistant.
• Utilize Ultipro to approve time off requests from porters.
• Attend hearings for any violations in the facility.
• Respond to and report emergencies and concerns to supervisor.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; two to three years of experience in facilities management or a related field.
• Current certifications in S13 Standpipe and S12 Fire Sprinkler required.
• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and think critically.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Proficiency in safety procedures and use of tools associated with the job.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety standards as set forth by state and federal governments.
