About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our team at Saxon Global. As a key member of our View Platform team, you will be responsible for developing new solutions and algorithms that increase performance throughout the entire application stack.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new features and enhancements to our View Platform
  • Collaborate with cross-discipline teams to solve complex problems and deliver high-quality software
  • Provide work direction to the software engineering team and contribute to the development of software development lifecycle phases
  • Develop software using current and leading-edge programming languages and technologies, including NodeJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
  • Share and champion ideas that evolve how we build our software product
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience with full stack development, with a strong background in both Frontend and Backend development
  • 3+ years of experience writing software applications for large-scale, distributed web or service-oriented environments
  • 5+ years of experience producing and/or consuming REST web services
  • 5+ years of experience in NodeJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
  • 2+ years of experience developing automated unit tests using Jest or Mocha/Chai or equivalent
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in messaging systems like RabbitMQ
  • Experience with off-heap caching solutions, such as Memcached, Redis
  • Experience with container platforms, such as Docker
  • Experience leading technical teams
  • Experience with at least one CDN
  • Experience with JSON Graph (GraphQL, Falcor, etc)
What We Offer

We offer a competitive rate of 65 and a remote work arrangement. Pair programming is encouraged but not required for all work, with 25-50% of the time spent on pair programming.
