Job Title: CNC Machinist

Auger Fabrication Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and program CNC machines to produce machined parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Set up and operate CNC machines, including mills and lathes, to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Verify settings and measurements to ensure quality and accuracy of produced parts.
  • Supervise CNC machines during operation and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality and accuracy standards.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist.
  • Mazak programming experience is a plus.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
Work Environment:

This position is based in a clean, well-lit, and air-conditioned manufacturing facility. The work environment is subject to noise from machinery and hazardous situations.

Physical Demands:
  • Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Heavy lifting required.
  • Manual dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Specific vision requirements, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
