Job Title: CNC Machinist

Auger Fabrication Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and program CNC machines to produce machined parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Set up and operate CNC machines, including mills and lathes, to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Verify settings and measurements to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Supervise machines and make adjustments as needed to produce high-quality parts.
  • Maintain equipment and perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist.
  • Mazak programming experience is a plus.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
Work Environment:

This is a full-time position in a clean, well-lit, and air-conditioned manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.

Physical Demands:
  • Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Heavy lifting required.
  • Manual dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination.
