Qualifications:


High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of experience in kitchen maintenance or operations, with at least one year in a supervisory role.

Familiarity with food and beverage service operations is preferred.

Must comply with certification requirements relevant to the position, including: Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid.

Demonstrates knowledge of all Aimbridge Hospitality policies and hospitality terminology.

Possesses or can obtain Food Manager Certification (as required by state regulations).

Job Duties:
Approaches all interactions with guests and team members in a courteous, service-oriented manner.


Manages and evaluates cost control, breakage, and quality support provided to various outlets and events.

Assists the Executive Chef in maintaining culinary supplies.

Oversees the condition and cleanliness of kitchen equipment and all kitchen areas.

Monitors cooking processes, safety protocols, kitchen inventory, and budgetary constraints.

Participates in the formulation of the annual stewarding operating budget to align with the objectives of the Food & Beverage Department.

Educates team members on current safety issues to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.

Reports any hazardous situations, emergencies, or threats to the safety of guests, employees, or hotel assets to management.

Determines optimal stock levels and manages the par stock of all materials and equipment.

Leads, supervises, and evaluates the Stewarding department, conducting performance assessments.

Ensures all kitchen staff effectively perform their assigned duties.

Maintains the highest standards of sanitation and cleanliness throughout all facilities and equipment.

Ensures proper handling of all cleaning chemicals.

Attends necessary meetings.


Assists with additional duties as required, which may include providing support with food service, completing setup sheets, etc.

Maintains open lines of communication with other departments.
