The Director of Annual Giving will play a critical role in advancing the fundraising goals of Duquesne University's Department of Athletics. This position requires a strong ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, and develop strategic plans to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and implementation of a successful revenue generation campaign, creating and executing a comprehensive year-round annual giving fundraising plan.
- Work closely with the Senior Associate Athletic Director/Chief Revenue Officer to identify and pursue opportunities for growth and development.
- Collaborate with the Associate Athletic Director, External Relations to create messaging, communication calendar, and collateral for appeals and stewardship efforts.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, tracking progress towards fundraising goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in working in college athletics, with a track record of success in annual giving.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
